On 25 January 2005 the Japan Sumo Association announced a three day exhibition to be held during the first weekend in October 2005.

The place: Mandalay Bay Resort, Las Vegas Nevada USA.

Tickets will go on sale 6 April through Ticketmaster and at the Mandalay Bay ticket office.

Tickets go on sale Wednesday, April 6th.

For a three day ticket price: $122.50/87.50/52.50 - plus 5% tax.
A three day limited VIP ticket will cost $227.50 plus tax.
A one day limited VIP ticket cost $325.00 plus tax.

The Basho starts at 8:00 PM on Friday and Saturday.
On Sunday the start time is 2:00 PM.

There is a limit of 8 tickets per person.
